Chapter Roma

Created by South African award winning interior designer Tristan Du Plessis , Chapter Roma, proudly member of Design Hotels, is the first Lifestyle Luxury Hotel in Rome to open, back in May 2019
The 47-room hotel, located in Via di Santa Maria dei Calderari in Rome’s Regola neighbourhood is housed in a brick building that dates to the 19th century, Chapter Roma will exude an industrial chic aesthetic, incorporating a number of exposed and weathered structural elements, such as fixtures resembling metal pipes, pendant lamps, and graffiti-decorated walls.
Speaking on the hotel’s design, which has been described as a mixture of grit and glamour, Tristan du Plessis, prsaid: “We wanted to create a design that stood out for its youthfulness whilst still respecting the traditions of the city, by using local craftsmen, materials, and aesthetics for a large amount of the hotel, and collaborating with young local and international artists as well as furniture and lighting manufacturers to embed a spirit of rebellion throughout the design.
boasting both classic and contemporary art and graffiti, and the rooms are simple with subtly brilliant surprises like objects and furniture from well-known international designers and artists ( including Tom Dixon, Seletti, Diesel and Moroso)
Blending classical opulence with more current influences, this fusion brings to life spaces including a fine dining Michelin Guide restaurant, an organic food market a luxurious mixology bar with a street art slant and a breath taking Mexican inspired Roof Top Bar & Taqueria
