Nobis Hotel Copenhagen

The gay-welcoming 77-room Nobis Hotel Copenhagen is housed in an historic 5,400-square-meter landmark building that originally served as the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music.

Bringing the Nobis magic to the midst of the Danish capital, the hotel is starchitect Gert Wingårdh’s “updated take on Le Corbusier. Danish classicism, which this building is a fine example of, is something special—more sophisticated, more stripped down than in Sweden,” he says. The historic landmark building on Niels Brocks Gade has been transformed into a cutting-edge contemporary luxury hotel—one where, like its Stockholm predecessor, food plays a central role.

    RESTAURANT

With its own entrance from the courtyard you will find the restaurant of the hotel. The back-yard house from 1960 has been remodelled by star architect Gert Wingårdh and will be covered in copper plate with a glass facade. The solid midnight blue wooden floor will give the restaurant a beautiful contrast to the Danish light wooden furniture that makes up the most part of the interior.

The guests will be served a culinary experience from the Nordic kitchen. The menu is made up of classic Nordic cuisine with a modern touch. The main focus will be on locally grown produce and seasonal dining. We want to give our guests a sense of purpose and inspire them to enjoy the locally cultivated products growing close to us. The kitchen will work with farmers on Sjælland and suppliers that pick the ingredients themselves in the close nature.
