Farol Hotel

The Farol Design Hotel is a masterpiece of Portuguese palatial architecture, originally built in 1890 for the Count of Cabral. The 33 guestrooms are “dressed” by acclaimed Portuguese fashion designers and sumptuous accents punctuate the ever-so-cool black and white interiors, hinting at the building’s regal history. The pool deck and salt water pool is a restful sanctuary: directly on top of the ocean it provides a space to relax on exquisite deck chairs that give the distinct impression of floating on water. Endless ocean views also amaze with waves occasionally crashing onto the pool deck; the entire structure has been designed to blur the boundaries between the building and its stunning natural surroundings.
